Card and a Winner!

This card is completely different than what I normally create. However, I've always wanted to experiment with the paper curling phenomenan and thought.. how perfect to create "smoke" from a chimney! So here it is.

Materials:
White cardstock - Bazzill
Patterned Paper on house - Cosmo Cricket Early Bird
Patterned Paper for grass - We R Memory Keepers
Letter Stickers, orange and blue cardstock - Making Memories
Chipboard House - Scenic Route
Bling - Kaiser

A couple 'o notes: Everyone has their little technique for adhering paper to chipboard but I had always been curious has to how people can put it on shaped chipboard! So this is what I do. I use my trusty Pioneer Gluestick to adhere some trimmed down paper to cover the entire piece of chipboard. I smooth it down... turn it over... smooth it down some more. Then, on my cutting mat, I turn the chipboard piece over so the paper is facing down and then use my cutting knife to trim around the chipboard. As a final touch, I like to sand the edges with a nail file or light grain sand paper. I have also found that the finger knife made by Fiskars is the easiest to use! Love it!

Alright. And I drew, at random, a lucky winner for the RAK! Congratulations Heather! Please email me at melissaelsner@gmail.com with your mailing information by Monday, June 8th to claim your prize!
