Happy Fourth of July!

I'm a day late but I always enjoy turning celebrations into week long events... sometimes even MONTH long! In beautiful Bellingham, Washington I had a blast hanging out with my good friend Holly and her family and our friends. We sat outside with our shoes off, letting the soft, cool grass envelope our toesies. Holly's nieces and nephew added to the ambiance with all their giggles and screams as they played in the pool.
We dined on delicious BBQ'd hamburgers and hot dogs with potato salad, baked beans, corn on the cob, devilled eggs, chips and salsa... YUM! Talk about all American YUMMO food!

Not only was it our great Nation's birthday but it was also Holly's birthday! This is a photo of her opening up the present from me. It's a personalized altered composition book. She's a fan of pink and glitter and I'm pretty sure she liked it...

That paper is Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday with some 7 Gypsies stickers, Thickers and a lil bit o' stickles to give some bling action!

I also got some GREAT snap shots of this lil guy:

I am in love with this boy. He is the son of one my "besties" (does it make me hip to say that word?) so I get to be "Auntie". This photo has layout written all over it!

The evening was ended with some delicious smores by the campfire and a lovely panoramic view of fireworks around the neighborhood. As loud, messy, and dangerous as they are... I sure do love watching them anyway! Needless to say, it was a Grand Ole Fourth!

What did you do?
