Happy Sunday

Hey Everyone!

I've been meaning to blog at least every other day, if not everyday, and I can see I got a little lazy. And that's really the excuse. I've just been lazy. Not too busy... Not distracted... just plain ole lazy! Currently, I'm working on my submissions for the Bo Bunny DT auditions. This has been such a fun experience for me and even if I don't make it (which I'm 99% sure I won't) it has been a BLAST to stock up on my Bo Bunny product. It seriously is my favorite right now. I've been going crazy watching their blog again.

I also mentioned in my last scrapsketch post about another RAK! Well... two days late in posting - but here it is:

I am currently gathering up a ton of goodies. That's right. A ton! Want to see what I currently have put together?

Hmm.. what do we see here. Maybe a little bit of Kaisercraft card packs and fozz felt, Marcella and Me and My Big Idea stickers, some Creative Cafe felt flowers and a Heidi Swapp sticker pack. Oh and some Prima leaves.

I will confess that these items are from my stash. Things that were purchased, gifted, won, etc. and I've never used and probably won't. So I feel a tad guilty just hording it and know that there is someone out there that will LOVE this stuff and use right away! I will be adding some more stuff to it over the next week or so because this RAK is going to last a little longer than a few days. The reason is because in order to "qualify" you need to do some personal digging.

So here are the rules:

1. Create a layout or mini-book that journal's about YOU. Go as deep as you want because you'll be sharing these publicly. It can be any topic you want but it has to be about YOU. So, your favorite place to travel, your favorite things, your childhood, what you are wishing for right now, what you love about yourself, what your faith means to you, where you want to be in 10 years, your favorite feature or characteristic about yourself, a note you want to leave for your children, a note to yourself... the possibilities are endless.

2. If you do a layout, use a scrapsketch sketch and include the # you used so I can reference. And other people too! We all like to see everyone's take on sketches.

3. Simply come back here and leave a link in the comments as to where we all can find your project. Those who come back to comment will be entered into the RAK.

I am so excited about this challenge. This has been a therapeutic journey for me while I create layouts about myself. It is not selfish and preserves a memory you know better than anybody else! Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

Oh.. deadline. Because this may be an emotional and time consuming project for some, I want to leave ample time for you all to do something quality. So have your link in the comments box by August 2nd. I will draw a winner by August 4th.

This was super fun!! Thanks for the challenge to get me thinking about me...it's my first lo ever about myself!! It's not that deep, but it's pretty accurate.
