my layouts for scrapsketch

This one is for sketch #106. I'm really enjoying digital layouts for numerous reasons. Which is funny to me because I was so "anti-digi" as I LOVE working with glue and messiness. But I also really like to work with elements like cut out circles and other flourish embellishments that you may normally need a die cut machine to create. But with digital I can do all that! So this particular layout, there was a circle outline (the one around the flower) part of the sketch. I don't usually have the tools to create this with paper unless I hand cut it in which case I substitute that embellie with something else.

All elements here are from Shabby Princess.

This layout is a favorite! I love doing these journal layouts. While anyone should create these, I find them extra therapeutic being a single lady without a marriage, relationship, children, etc. to scrap. I hope that later on in years when people come across these layouts they are somehow inspired.

So many fun products used here:

Patterned Paper and chipboard elements - Cosmo Cricket
Flowers - Bo Bunny
Journal paper - Making Memories
Brads and buttons - American Crafts
Black CS - Bazzill
Fiskars Threading Water Punch

Head over to scrapsketch and link up your interpretation of the sketches! I'd love to see what you do!!
