Yay for Friday's! No matter how much I say I love my job, there is just something about Fridays. I have to wake up so early (say 4:30 a.m.) for work that I always welcome Friday with open arms because I know some sleep in time is coming! What are your plans for the weekend? Tonight I'll be getting my craftiness on at my church. Once a month we have a woman's craft night and I love attending these as much as possible.
Saturday, I plan to tackle my bathroom. Please hold me accountable!! Leave me a comment that says "Melissa... why are you checking your blog when you could be cleaning your bathroom?????? Get OFF here!" Seriously... please do it. So tomorrow... bathroom cleaning and then probably a little bit 'o laundry. I will also be tackling my Holiday Bazaar product making. Got a pile of composition books that need to be altered, some empty Frappaccino bottles that need to be covered and some door hangers to make!
If you are looking for some inspiration to get your crafty mojo going this weekend, check out what I found:
- Jennifer McGuire has a new post with a video about the Cards for Kate drive. You should see the prizes that are available which are so awesome but I hope that people make cards for the real reason which is to make Kate smile. Who doesn't love a prize? But I think I would do it even without a prize! She also included a yummy looking recipe! Can't wait to try it!
- Need a challenge that makes you think outside of the box? Check out Creative Twist! Christina has done a fab job with her challenges there and the latest one looks so fun. I'll be trying it this weekend for sure! She also has some blog candy to be won!
- Helen is on the DT at All About Me and I just love her work. How lucky am I to have snatched her up first for a Design Team!!!??? You'll need to check out this post by her with a butterfly tutorial. Then click on her blog banner to see her latest post because she's got something fun for you to win! Gosh I just love her stuff!!
- Check out this layout, and this mini-book using my favorite color, this card definitely gets me into the holiday spirit, and I got a sweet surprise while perusing the designers area at 2peas.
