new sketches at scrapsketch!

It's Monday so some fabulous new sketches are up at scrapsketch.  Here is a layout and a card using sketch #153 with some more details:
{Story} I like to refer to this as a reverse hybrid layout.  It began as paper, glue and stitching.  I then scanned it and the rest of the elements are digital.  Pretty tricky eh?
{Process}  I adhered the green floral and green leaf paper. Then stitched over it with the white thread.  After that, I scanned it, uploaded it into Photoshop and added the photo and other elements like flowers, chalkboard and title.
Green flocked floral paper - Creative Cafe
Green leaf - Scenic Route
Flowers, chalkboard and brush - Shabby Princess

{Story} I love adapting layout sketches for cards too.  You can basically use and tweak sketches however you like!  Have fun with them!

{Process} The card size ends up being 6x6.  I traced out the circle.  All the stitching is done before adhering to the CS.

Patterned Paper - Fancy Pants and Making Memories
CS - Core'dinations
Flower - Prima
Stamp - Inkadinkado
Button - stash

Thanks for swinging by!  Check out the other CT work at scrapsketch!
