Help me!

Hello wonderful blog readers...

Could you please help me?  I'm putting together my scrap resume and need to describe my style.  I've always had a hard time with this because I do and try lots of different techniques.  Am I shabby chic? Not quite.  Am I clean and simple? Not quite that either.  What other descriptions are there???

I'm in the midst of uploading and creating a slideshow on my Flickr account but take a look at my Two Peas gallery and give me some ideas.  What would you call my style?  Chameleon??  I have a lovely little prize to give to someone should they like to help me.  How about getting the chance to pick from my Etsy shop one of the Altered Composition Books?   I'll keep this open until tomorrow (Monday, October 5) 6:00 P.M. (PST).  It'll just be a quickie.

Thanks in advance!!!!

Hey melissa,

I'd kind of say your style is a whimsical/modern mix...
Whimsical – Playful, fun and eclectic are all terms to sum up this style. Although it's often associated with child themed pages, you can use a whimsical style on any type of page you wish. People who love this style like to use a lot of different types of media. Bold color choices, flourishes, dots and checks are all whimsical design elements.

Modern – You want to stay on top of the hottest trends and the newest techniques. You use clean lines, like with a traditional style but your color choices are more bold and varied. Look to fashion magazines for the latest color trends and see if you can match them with cardstock while you wait for scrapbook pattern designers to catch up! Metal, blocks and stripes are all modern and up to date embellishment choices.

I always struggle finding my style too? I don't know still to this day lol

*giggle* sorry, I am still stuck on "Chameleon" and it's way too early in the morning for me... :)
I'll ponder it throughout the day... although I do think Melissa's description is quite fitting!

I have this difficulty too Melissa. More so because I don't use a lot of product - I always feel like I should call myself stingy!

How about eclectic?

Well this closes up my little request. Melissa.. LOVE your description and I think I'm going to tweak it to be my own. Love it! And you get to go pick out an altered composition book. Only one little disclaimer.... you have to come get it! Ha.. just kidding. Email me your address and wow.. I've never shipped to Canada before.. this will be good practice.

I was thinking something like a mix a playful and eclectic style, with a unique and creative twist. I notice you love to distress and use many cutting edge techniques.
That is what I see anyways
