Two Layouts!

Thought I would post both of my DT layouts!  The first one is my recent one for scrapsketch:

Due to lovely rainstorms (which I do LOVE) it has hindered from quality lit photos.  Oh well. :)

Materials:
Background Patterned Paper and yellow Thickers - American Crafts
Flowers - Prima
Rub on stitching - Kaisercraft
Buttons, brad, ribbon, metal embellishment all from stash
Orange CS - Bazzill
Fiskars Threading Water Punch

While AC is not my favorite of patterned papers, I enjoyed working with this particular paper.  That yellow is so pretty and contrasted nice with the B&W photo.  You won't be seeing many more layouts from me at scrapsketch as I've now been moved to CARDS!  Yeehaw!  So excited about that!!

And here is the layout for All About Me:

I just love this layout!  I used a sketch from Pencil Lines to help me how to arrange the photos.  My year in Guatemala was a major turning point in my life.  I've had many turning points but this one definitely has left a lasting impression on me!  Talk about life altering in every way possible... mostly had to do a lot with how I view life.. what I view as meaningful, necessity, valuable... wow.

Materials:
Patterned Papers (they are there! look closely!) - Collage Press
Flowers - Prima
Black letter stickers - Doodlebug
Green chipboard letters - Scenic Route
Gracias and journaling spot stamps - Fiskars
metal embellishments and buttons - stash
Black Zig Pen

Thanks for swinging by!  Hope you get a chance to use a sketch this week and/or join us as All About Me!

It's difficult to describe how life changing a trip like that is to someone, isn't it? Nice to know someone understands without me having to try! Love the layouts Melissa and so nice to find just another thing we have in common x
