A Fond Farewell

My last projects for scrapsketch were posted this week!  I have to say that it was awesome to work with Steph's sketches and be a part of such a fun group of ladies.  But now it's time for me to move on and let the next gal take my spot.  Here are my last two cards made with Card Sketch #10:

The first card just uses some Bazzill Kraft CS and a flower from my stash.  I bought the flower as a package at a garage sale and I'm not sure who the manufacturer is.  I always default to Prima but I know that's always true.  I had some leftover burlap and thought it would add some fun texture.  I'm all out of Zip Dry and my other adhesive wouldn't hold the burlap on so I ended up stapling.  I really like the diversity of the design.... the roughness of the burlap and staples... then here comes the pretty flower!  Aw.

The second card uses some delicious Indian Summer paper by Basic Grey.  Gosh I just love this line.  It's so gorgeous.  Under the flower is a metal frame and I decided to do some faux stitching around the edge.

My time at scrapsketch was so much fun and I really appreciated the opportunity to be part of something that has exploded into a great site!  Now I'm looking forward to focusing more on All About Me, my business and whatever else is looming around the corner!
