What have I been up to lately?
Craft Shows of course!
Last weekend was the kick off in my community for Holiday Craft Shows and I've been so busy making all these fun little gifts to sell. The above photo is my booth at last weeks show and it was quite empty by the end of the day. How happy was I???? Except I have another show this Saturday so I've had to replenish the stock!
Items that I've successfully sold, which is just about everything on that table, are cards, marble magnets, gift tags, hot cocoa gift jars (using recycled Frappaccino bottles) and altered composition books! I'm ripping myself off a bit by not charging what my cards are actually worth but people don't buy them when I try to ask for more than $3. The cool thing is, I was asked by two different shops to display my products. I've put them on hold for now because I need to make sure I can keep up with inventory and find out what percentage they want to keep from my profits.
I don't know about your neck of the woods but there has been a lot higher traffic and buying at Craft Shows this year! That makes me, a craft show vendor, extremely happy!!!!
