What is your soundtrack?

Our challenge to you at All About Me is What is the Soundtrack of your Life?  If you are musically challenged, that's okay!  Get as creative and musical as you like.  This was a fun one for me.

{Story}
I decided to a "top ten", if you will, of songs that I believe have helped define or at least hold a significant memory for me.  "Miss Independant" (By Kelly Clarkson), "What Do I Know of Holy" (By Addison Road), "Give Me Your Eyes" (By Brandon Heath), "Ain't No Mountain High Enough", "Tal Como Soy" (By Jesus Adrian Romero), "Don't Stop Believin'" (By Journey), "Love is Here to Stay" (By Ella Fitzgerald), "God Bless the Child" (By Billie Holliday), "Lord You Have My Heart", "Follow You" (By Leeland).
All of these songs are from a certain time of my life... when I was really getting into music, when I became a follower of Jesus, when I lived in Guatemala and fell in love with the people and the language, when I was in High School.... The titles are perfect too!  I am Independent but also need a Savior.  There isn't a mountain too high but I also don't understand how HUGE the God I serve is.. I won't stop believing!

{Materials}
Patterned Paper - We R Memory Keepers
Felt flower - Creative Cafe
Buttons - Bo Bunny
Bling - Kaisercraft
Letter stickers - Mixture of Doodlebug, Scenic Route, Making Memories and AC Thickers
Ball Trim - Fancy Pants
Cardstock - Bazzil (dotted swiss)
Paint - Making Memories

Just an added note.. I LOVED the effect of the paint on the dotted swiss paper. Such a fun texture! The words Holy and Believin' were cut with the Silhouette SD.   Hope you make it over and join us!  Donna came up with the challenge... SO creative!!

I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this layout. The colors and layout are so pleasing to the eye and what a great idea to make a page about the music that defines us. Great job

I love your layout Melissa! I love the combination of lettering and the texture you've added. It gives it lots of interest without a photograph. I know that's quite hard to do :)

Beautiful--love the color and the way the words are all different.
