Oh Mr. Sunshine....

please come back!  I so enjoyed having you visit the past couple of days.  Why must this silly typical, cloudy pacific northwest weather have to come back?  I know you will miss me as much as I miss you Mr. Sun.  I am confident you will return to me.  In the meantime, I took advantage of being inside most of the day and made some cards:

Always laugh and sing.  That's my new motto!  I made this card last night at the Treasury of Memories Spring Open House.  I love having this place in my hometown and to be able to see the sweet ladies that I miss seeing on a regular basis at the old LSS.  LOVE me some October Afternoon goodness!

Cardstock - Bazzill Basics Paper
Paper, brad and stickers - October Afternoon
Other: burlap

This one took me most of the afternoon.  Mostly because I was coming back to it after I loaded the washing machine, ate lunch, got distracted by the computer, packed up for an 80's slumber party with the gal pals and who knows what else.  But here it is!  I am officially in love with Pink Paislee.

Kraft Cardstock - Paper Accents
Paper - Pink Paislee
Chipboard letters - American Crafts
Flower - Prima Marketing
Tool - sewing machine

I have sewn on a paper project in quite some time.  It was good to get that needle going again!  Want a little tip to help keep your ends in place?  I adhere a piece of kraft cardstock on the back of it.  That way the ends can't pull through the holes and I don't have to tie knots.  :)  You can either adhere the same type of cardstock like I did or something else to make the inside pretty.  Whatever floats your boat!

Well... I'm off to go party with the girlfriends!  We're going 80's theme tonight with big hair, pink eyeshadow, Patrick Swayze and whole nine yards!  I'm sure some FUN layouts will be coming atchya... ;)
