Sketchabilities reveal time!

Weeeeee!  I love a good sketch and I love a good reveal day!  This is the first sketch reveal with the new DT at Sketchabilities and, again, I am so honored to be designing with these gals.  Karan added a new sketch artist too and I must say, this was a fun sketch to work with!  Here is our sketch from Allison:

I have to admit I was challenged at first.  I've gotten to be such a "negative space" scrapper and when I saw this taking up the entire page, my mouth and nose and chin all kind of went in a weird direction.  With all sketches, I'll stare for a bit and see how I can shrink them but this time I decided.. heck with it... I'm going to cover the whole page:

Most of it anyway! *big cheesy grin*  Um.  Do you like that photo?  That's me.  Back in the 40's.  Don't I look radiant for my age?  Ha!  Noooo... admit it all you Facebook people you tried out that Yearbook Yourself site and you know it!  The scary thing with this photo in particular is I look almost identical to my mom in one of her high school photos.  Minus the glasses.  How could I resist scrapping this awesome photo??  We all need a fun layout in our scrapbooks don't we?

{Materials}
Paper - Cosmo Cricket, Girl Friday
Cardstock - Bazzill Basics
Flowers - Prima Marketing and Kaisercraft
Bling - Kaisercraft
Tool - Silhouette SD

The butterflies, arches and title were all cut with my Sil.  I don't have my home computer as it's slowly dying I think.  It's very sad.  And since I'm borrowing computers until something gets fixed (or I get a new one) I don't have the image names handy right now.

Do you like this sketch?  Head on over to Sketchabilities and see what the rest of the team did.  Quite fab I must say!  And you might just walk away feeling inspired and ready to create a page, or two, or twenty! :)
