Scrapstreet NSD Blog Hop!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day to all!

Don't you just love this day?  Like we needed anything else to enable our passion of scrapping, right?  So happy to have you join us Scrapstreet gals for our NSD blog hop.  If you are just arriving at my blog, make sure you begin here.  Don't want to miss out on the fabulous tutorials and challenges along the way. :)

I am so honored to be part of the ScrapStreet crew.  I get to scope out awesome blogs and feature them in the Blog Bay column.  So excited about the upcoming blogs that will be featured and I'm sure you will love them too.  Did you know that ScrapStreet is more than just a magazine??  It's a wonderful community of fellow scrappers that not only love their hobby but love to share life with one another!  You'll have to check out the following areas of the ScrapStreet site:
  1. The ScrapStreet Blog is quite busy lately with lots of fun challenges, tips and techniques to keep you inspired and motivated!
  2. The Gallery is a wonderful place for some more visual inspiration and to also show off your projects using the challenges and also share your layouts that have been pubbed in the Streets.
  3. And you'll want to make sure to hit up the NSD forum at ScrapStreet.  LOTS of fun challenges and LOTS of prizes!  You won't want to miss it!

Well now that you are here, continue sipping on the coffee while I take you through a wee challenge.  It is NSD after all and I'm sure you are preparing yourself for a fabulous day of scrapbooking.  Why not include a challenge to inspire, motivate, wake up Mr. Mojo. you know. :)

I've got a color combo for you:

How perfect is that for a Spring layout??  I thought the 365 Degrees papers by Pink Paislee would work perfect!

Here is my layout:

{Supplies}
Cardstock: Paper Accents, Paper: Pink Paislee, Flowers: Prima Marketing, Stickers: 7 Gypsies, Brad and bread tab: Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker, Bling: Kaisercraft, Letter stickers: American Crafts, Tool: Silhouette SD

You know what I love about the Silhouette?  You can resize the images to make them your own.  That scallop - I made it larger and then warped the width a little bit.  Fun!
Let me know if you take on this color challenge by including the link to your layout in the comments below.  I'd love to come take a look and leave you some love!

Are you ready for the next stop on this hop?  Go on over to my fellow ScrapStreet crew member Diana!

Happy NSD everyone!!!
