Began the morning with meeting my parents for breakfast. We then headed to the Farmer's Market. It's been an absolutely gorgeous day today.
Isn't my mama adorable? One of the vendors was giving away free oregano to all mom's this weekend.
So I learned that the Farmer's Market isn't cheap. In fact, it's a lot more expensive to purchase anything. A lot of factors weigh in on this - 1) Certified Organic and 2) our local F.M. charges a LOT. So dumb in my opinion. Kind of takes away the original purpose of what the Farmer's Market is all about. Oh well. I really like this sign anyway.
These pretty flowers made up for the prices too. They were very expensive so I told my mom I'd take a photo instead. She liked that idea! :)
After the Farmer's Market we went over to Youngstocks which is an open air market with fresh produce and plants and the like. It's less expensive and the produce is fantastic! I love going there. We bought some starter plants for an urban garden at my parents house. Hopefully, they will have some cucumbers, tomotoes, fresh garlic and some delicious spices soon. Isn't it adorable?
These are the days that I love. Beautiful weather. Outdoor fun. Farm fresh produce ready to be cut up and eaten. *Sigh* I love Spring!!!
