Ah.. this is therapy...

After my confessional post yesterday, I took a break from deadlines and created some cards.  No agenda.  Just for fun!

Supplies:  Paper: October Afternoon, Cardstock: Paper Accents, Ribbon: Offray, Other: Button, Tools: Silhouette SD

Silhouette Images: patterned_flower_ C00043_27011, scallop_circle_ribbon_slider_C00049_24282

I got the flower idea from the Silhouette Blog.  Instead of doing the print and cut, I just used the image to cut from the OA papers and then layered for the flower.  And what do I love the most about my Sil?  Being able to manipulate images.  That scallop and circle image is from a ribbon slider image.  I just delete the wholes that would normally be cut for the ribbon.  I really like the size of the scallops of this circle.

Supplies: Paper: October Afternoon, Paper: Core'dinations, Paper Accents, Sticker: SRM Stickers, Brad: Making Memories, Flowers: Prima Marketing, Tools: Punch: (scallop) Fiskars.

Supplies: Paper: October Afternoon, Cardstock: Paper Accents, Ribbon: Offray, Brad: American Crafts, Stickers: SRM Stickers, Pen: Zig (EK Success)

Can you tell I'm having a slight addiction to the Thrift Shop line?  The color combos are to die for.  I'm getting a little sad, though, because I'm slowly running out.  *Sigh*

That flower was made using a tutorial you can find by clicking here.  It's super easy and it really makes a nice touch to a card or a layout.

Well now that I've gotten to create for fun, the mojo has been revived and I'm back to the other projects!  So happy about that too.  I hate it when creativity gets clogged.

hugs,
Melissa
