Happy Weekend!

I have to laugh at my excitement over a three day weekend since I've been out sick all this week.  I only went to work one day and by the time my time was over, I had the "Friday syndrome"!   I think I'm just glad to be feeling normal and will be able to actually enjoy the three day weekend.  As much as I didn't enjoy being sick, it was a nice break from work.  I love my job and wish to continue loving it!   Last night I was up late crafting!  It felt so good because it was my first time to test out my much smaller crafty area thanks to the move.  I had to downsize quite dramatically.  Not in product mind you... just space! ;)  I think it's going to work out though.  I think I'm going to enjoy the challenge to create in a smaller place.  My desk is directly in front of a window and having the bright natural light is soothing!

I do have to say.. having a smaller crafty space makes reaching materials a much easier task.  Just about everything is within arms reach.  As much as I loved having tons of elbow room and walking room before, I'm finding I do enjoy being cozy and having everything close by.

Here are the cards I made last night:

Supplies:  Paper, die cuts: My Minds Eye, Cardstock: Paper Accents, Flowers: Prima Marketing, Brad: American Crafts, Ribbon: Offray, Sticker: SRM Stickers

I pulled out some old stash here with the Garden Party line by MME.  Not a huge fan of the color combo anymore but it felt good to use up some old materials.  And what more is there to say about SRM Stickers?  I love them!!!  This card is inspired by the current sketch #173 over at CPS

Supplies I do know about:  Cardstock: Paper Accents, Bling: Kaisercraft, Glitter Glue: Stickles, Pen: Signo

Okay this card I need your help.  Are these die cuts October Afternoon??  I found the sheets and there was no brand anywhere and I could not for the life of me remember who the manufacture was!  Eeek!

Again.. good to use up some stash though and gave myself my own challenge to use up die cuts from all these 12x12 sheets I bought and thought I'd use up quickly.  Yeah right.

Well I'm off to fix my typical Saturday morning coffee and breakfast so I can do some much needed blog surfing.  Come back tomorrow because we've I'll have an exciting way for you to have a chance winning a Courage kit from Scrapbooking from the Inside Out!!!!

hugs,
Melissa
