Happy Tuesday!

I'm working a four day work week this week. Then it's a four day weekend and I'm not excited at all. Ooooh can you read the sarcasm in that??? ;) It's also the a new month tomorrow which means many things for many different people. Some have already returned to school. For us, the first day of school is next Tuesday. I work at a year round childcare center but we do move-ups the same week. So we're all a frenzy getting things ready. We close on Tuesday to do a deep clean and move things around.

It also means LOTS of new things! Like a new kit at SFTIO (which you are going to LOVE!!!!) Oh my goodness it is so beautiful. My favorite so far! Lots of pretties. It also means a new issue of ScrapStreet! Yahoo! My favorite magazine on the web baby! AND it also just happens to be the kick off to a challenge at AAM with the new Design Team. Wow! Lots of action. But don't worry. I will ease you into all the excitement with one post a day. Don't want to overload your sensory levels in one amazing post.

Here is a layout using Lily Bee that's in the current ScrapStreet:

Supplies: Paper: Lily Bee, Scenic Route, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics, Flowers: Kaisercraft, Stickers: 7 Gypsies, Ink: Tsukineko, Other: button, twine, leaves. Tools: Electronic Cutter: Silhouette SD, Other: Sewing Machine.
Design Notes: Throw in my Silhouette and I can make some adorable handmade embellishments using these gorgeous papers.
Journaling: It has been a long time goal of mine to have a garden in order to have some fresh herbs & veggies to cook with. My last trip to the open air market, I finally did it. Bought the starts. Now here’s hoping I can keep it all alive!

Yep!  The team got to play with GORGEOUS Lily Bee for the August issue.  If I was forced to pick a favorite line of scrapbook paper it would be Lily Bee!  So gorgeous.  And I am drooling over all the new releases too.

Alright folks, got to head to work!  I'm going to be late!!!

hugs,
Melissa
