I know my blog has been riddled with all things Ewan lately. While I have plenty of scrappy goodness to share, it will all happen in due time. Processing Sunday night and grieving the loss of such a sweet baby that has touched millions of lives is something I need to focus on this week. But... that doesn't mean I can't also include my passion which is scrapbooking.
So many are using their gifts to support the Petermann family and Seattle Children's Hospital. I thought, what can I give through my scrapbooking? It came quite easily. I can raise money to contribute a donation in memory of Ewan Eliezer Petermann. And that is exactly what I (and a few of my scrappy friends) are going to do!
If you click on the image above it will take you to the Project Team Ewan fan page on Facebook. You can keep up to date on what is happening with the project here on my blog and/or connecting at Facebook. I hope that you will join us! Want to know more about the project??
There will be a Class Package available for you to purchase. Included with this Class Package will be printable classes in .pdf fashion contributed by folks like Nancy Doren, Iris Babao-Uy, Kara Haupt and that's just to name a few. You will also have access to a beautiful, touching digital kit made by Jen Martakis and another digital template/kit from Dora Phillips.
If you purchase the Class Package during November, you will be entered to win some amazing prizes! There will be a paper goodie prize pack (or two) from Jen Gallacher and someone else. AND a bountiful gift certificate to a certain lovely ladies Digi-shop! (I can't give everything away!!! You just have to wait!!)
This is HUGE!!! 100% of the proceeds (minimum cost is still being determined) will go towards Children's Hospital in memory of Ewan. If we reach $500, there will be a plaque with Ewan's name displayed at the hospital. Also.. the money will be designated to go towards CHD research. So while you are supporting a local Children's Hospital, in reality you are supporting a world-wide effort to help further research, diagnosis and care for children born with CHD's (Congenital Heart Defects). How awesome is that????
That's all the details I have for your right now! I hope you join the page over at FB or begin following my blog. I'll make sure to post that banner at the top of posts that will give you an update on the Class Package. Pass it on!!!
