Hey Goodlookin'

This month, for my Blog Bay article at ScrapStreet, I am featuring the talented Allison Davis and her blog.  She let me play along with the Sketch of the Week that we are featuring which was a ton of fun! I was reminded why I love her sketches so much - they make me want to make two page layouts!

So my best friend Megs and her hubby have this adorable sweet boy that I just love.  I am "auntie" to his adorableness and have had these photos forever.  I've done some one-pagers with just one photo but I love the action shots too.  I think I was in conversation with him about whatever we were doing.  I think we were having fun. :)  This sketch was too perfect for all these photos... even the one where I am half blurred and looking down.  I wonder what I was saying?

Supplies: Paper, Chipboard, Journal Spot, Twine: Jillibean Soup, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Alphabet: American Crafts, Brads: BasicGrey, Marker: Marvy Uchida, Pen: Zig Memory Systems (Kuretake).
Journaling: Me and Sammy hanging out at the café. What a hunk! 2/10

I absolutely adored the colors and patterns from the Monster Stew line from Jillibean Soup.  They worked too perfect for this boy layout I wanted to create and the plethora of patterns and colors made using this sketch way fun.

I encourage you to come check out the article!  Unfortunately, it's the last Blog Bay article for ScrapStreet.  At least for now.  You never know.

Hugs,
Melissa
