Merry Christmas!

I was up until 1:00 a.m. last night working on a card.  Yep.  A card.  But I was also distracted by the TV.  I've been watching Sarah Palin's Alaska on TLC and then Saturday Night Live came on.  Usually I fall asleep watching it but due to the card and coffee breaks, I lost track of time.  I was wondering why I was beginning to feel light headed.

I think that's one of my favorite feeling.  So tired that when your head hits the pillow you are out.

Anyway, I get the monthly kit from ScrapStreet and for this month we got the pretty Noel line from Teresa Collins.  This paper is so heavy duty, I love it!  And I loved the traditional colors and patterns too.

The ornament shape was traced from a transparency shape that came from an old kit by Little Yellow Bicycle.  I found it randomly in my Christmas stash and it took me awhile to remember where it was frome.  It made the perfect template to trace onto the TC paper.  Add in an SRM Sticker and it's perfection.  I really like this card.  The stitching took forever but was well worth it.

Hope you are having an enjoyable weekend!  Tonight is our first Christmas program at church.  I'll be singing a solo with the adult choir and all the cutie kiddos will be doing their performances too.  I just love this time of year!

Hugs,
Melissa

Beautiful card! I wish I had more patience to do that kind of stitching. Very nice!
