Some cards for you

Thought I would share with you a few cards that didn't get picked up for pub in one magazine.  I thought about submitting to another but changed my mind.  I like them and one of them fits perfectly for a friends event coming up.  While I love submitting and the feeling of getting accepted, sometimes I just like to have some cards to use and share with you right away.  I never want this hobby to become something completely focused on deadlines!

I absolutely love these papers from Sassafras lass!  Adorable images, super fun colors and one of my favorite features is the scalloped border on the 12x12 sheets of paper.  Don't throw them away!!  Oh no!  Use them like I did on this card and as added accent to the card.  Still love my stickers from SRM.  I love that they are clear and I can use them on top of patterned papers.  I adhered the 'make a wish!' part with some pop dots on top of the ribbon.  The scalloped looking frame is a sticker from the Sass line.  I just adhered it to cardstock and trimmed it.  Then, placed it on some pop dots.

More Sass and some kraft. :)  And of course more SRM!  I'm a firm believer that all Get Well cards should have fun, bright colors.

My three faves - Lily Bee, SRM and my Silhouette SD!  What more could a girl want?  I love the classy and cozy feel of this card and how the Lily Bee papers work so well together.   Silhouette shapes used for this card were: window_card (there are several with this name), patterned_flower

Thanks for swinging by!  Now back to revamping my word for the year and gazing out the window at all the pretty snow.  Hoping it doesn't freeze too bad tonight!  Eek!
