You're One of a Kind!

Oh my.  Thank you so much for all the comments on my last post.  You all are too sweet to come visit little ole me.  Honestly, how can you NOT be creative with this adorable new line from Nikki Sivils!!!!  Seriously!!!!  So I sat down tonight for another time of creating for fun.  Then tomorrow it's back to projects with deadlines but I'm ready! :)

Here is another card I made with the new Max & Mollie line.  It's not released yet and I can guarantee you all are going to love it!  The colors are so "springy" and having them laying all over my craft table brightens up the room!  Which is much needed since it's been so cloudy and rainy in my neck of the woods.

Here is a close - up of some of the details.  I took the scalloped paper and cut it down to 5 1/2" x 8" and - tada!!! Instant scalloped edge.  I love that there is a sheet of some of the patterns broken down into 6 x 6 sizes.  So I used some of that for the card base and those strips.  Since I'm a fan of dimension, I used some pop dots for the brown scallop.

After backing the flower cut-out, I adhered some ruffle ribbon from Pink Paislee.  And what do you do when you run out of pop dots??? You use your used Ranger Blending Foams!  I'm so glad I saved them.  I cut one in half and adhered it to the back of the ruffle and card base.

Supplies:  Paper, cut outs: Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker, Ribbon: Pink Paislee, Bling: Teresa Collins, Adhesive: Helmar, Other: Thread

Thanks for swinging by!  My next project with these papers?  An attempt at creating a boy page.  Hmmm....  I think I'm up for the challenge. :)
