Changes are good

We all experience changes.  Sometimes they are not the best, are difficult and messy to go through.  Other times they are healing and wonderful.  There is a change going on at All About Me.  The announcement was made today.  While it is sad and I've grieved it a little bit, I know it is for the best and will be a wonderful resource to still leave out there in scrapbooking blog land. :)

Changes also seem to go by so fast!  Take, for example, my little cutie patootie "nephew" Sammy!  One of my closest friends and I try to get together as much as possible.  It's hard when you are a grown up!  We both work, she's got a husband and a child's schedule to work around.  I've got extra-curricular stuff.  But when we do get together it's the sweetest time.  And now I get to share in the joy of watching her wittle cutie boy grow up.  (Yep... I typed "wittle".)

Over at Sketch Support, the DT was sponsored by Jillibean Soup.  Each Friday this month, we are revealing our projects using the product and the sketch for the week.  Here is mine using the two-pager and featuring that sweet, cute boy:

Supplies - Cardstock: Recollections; Patterned Paper, alphabet, corrugated chipboard, journal spot, twine: Jillibean Soup; Electronic Cutter: Silhouette SD; Punch: EK Success; Font: Urania Czech

To see other DT examples head on over to Sketch Support.  The February Guest Designer is being featured today and I LOVE her take on the sketch!  I just love how sketches can help give us a foundation and, for me anyway, the mojo to create a page.  Sometimes I just don't have it in my head of a good design or composition for my photos and sketches help get me organized.  And, yes I'm going to put a plug here, I love Ali's sketches because they even include measurements. Give it a try if you are on the hunt for a good sketch!

So how do you deal with change?  Are you pretty flexible?  Look forward to it?  Hide from it?

Hope you have a good weekend!
