Happy First of the Month!

Oh the first of the month.  Always so much excitement.

Yesterday, the latest Card Sketch at Sketch Support was revealed.  It's a cute one!  Here is my card:

Supplies - Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper; Patterned Paper: Crate Paper; Flower, bling: Prima Marketing; Butterfly stickers: Jenni Bowlin Studios; Ink: Tim Holtz (Ranger Industries); Pen: Uniball Signo; Stamp: Inkadinkado; Border Punch: Martha Stewart Crafts; Corner Punch: EK Success

Today you can see some more of the Creative Team's interpretations of the sketch.  It really is a fun place over on that site.  So many great people coming to visit and sharing their projects too.

Also, there is a new issue of ScrapStreet!  So much goodness is packed into the February issue.  This month we are featuring the adorable TaDa Creative Studios.  My other article is Card Corner and I'm showcasing some lovely cards focused on Valentine's Day for you.  Can I just mention how weird it is to be writing this article now?  This was the article that I had my first publication.  I remember the excitement I felt.  I still do every single time something of mine shows up somewhere.  I can't ever believe it!  There are so many others that are way more talented than I am so it makes it even more bittersweet. Anyway, just had to share that real quick as it dawned on me that I now write for the article that kind of set this whole designing thing in motion.

AND.. with the first also brings the new kit reveal at SFTIO!  I LOVE this kit so much.  The combination of papers and embellishments are perfect.  Take a look at the kit Vulnerability.  You'll get to see my layouts near the middle of the month.  We've split up the team a bit to space out projects and such.  I'm thankful for the extra time to complete my layouts and play with the kit. :)  But YOU can go check it out now and see the other DT inspiration.
