Hello

I am enjoying a most wonderful sleep in morning today!  Went to a concert last night and used a couple of vacation hours so I could go into work late.  Kind of wish I had tacked on another hour but that's okay.  I found myself way ahead the schedule of getting ready so thought I'd squeeze in a blog post.  I've been trying to make some projects using up my scraps.  There is so much new, beautiful product coming out and I need to make room!  I made this card the other day using up some of my Jillibean stash:

Supplies: Cardstock, paper, journal spot, twine: Jillibean Soup, Sticker: SRM Stickers, Tool: Silhouette SD (Shape: 3d_floral)

Here's a close up of the florals:

I became a fan of those spiral paper florals when I first saw them and have been so excited to see different variations of the shape show up in the Silhouette store.  I like the texture and movement of these florals.  And you can just shrink the size to whatever you want.  Gotta love that!

Well, I'm off to brave the elements now.  We got snow here.  Not a whole lot.  A couple of inches in places and a dusting in others.  Tonight it's suppose to be 9 degrees.  Uh.  Yikes.  I'll be piling on the blankets!  Can't wait for warmer temperatures!!!!

hugs,
Melissa
