An Inspirational Blog Hop

Hi everyone!

Today we are hopping along with the Design Team at Scrapbooking from the Inside Out.  I love being part of this team.  Rachel puts together some gorgeous kits loaded with symbolism and beautiful product each month.  In case you haven't heard of SFTIO, it is a monthly kit club just like most.  We have an online community, tons of the latest and greatest in a kit, samples from the DT but there is so much more.  Each month we focus on an emotion.  This can be weird and even scary for some but I encourage you to try it out!  Even if you don't have the kit.  Just to dip your toes, you might want to come join us on the forum and see the challenges we give each month.  You don't have to have a kit to play along and it will give you an idea of what we're all about.

By the way... if you are just arriving on my blog, make sure you start at Nancy's blog so you don't miss out on all the inspiration. :)

In the meantime, I have one of my layouts to share with you today from the BEAUTIFUL Inspiration Kit for March. I am such a huge fan of bright, citrus-y colors and this kit fit me so well.  Plus, the emotion of inspiration is so fun.  It can reach a broad spectrum of topics to scrapbook.

Keeping with the theme of color - that happens to be something I'm definitely inspired by.  How can you not be?  It can inspire you to feel so many things - sadness, joy, peace, anxious, hunger, etc.  I love having my scrapbook supplies stored in clear jars so I can see all the color as I work away.  Plus, it just makes beautiful room decor.

Each month the DT gives a tutorial or writes an article.  This month I gave a quick tutorial on how I made this flower.  Come on over to the forum to check it out.

I like to try out techniques that aren't really new but one's I haven't done yet.  I like how tracing the letters with white made them pop.  Even in the midst of all those colors and patterns!

Supplies: Paper: Cosmo Cricket, Cardstock, Alphabet, Journal Spot, Rosette Ribbon: American Crafts, Flower: Creative Impressions, Brad: Crate Paper, Stamp, bling: Prima Marketing, Glitter glue: Stickles (Ranger Industries), Pen: Uni-Ball Signo

This hop is also signifying a new transition for SFTIO.  Our faithful DT Coordinator Nancy is passing the baton to me.  I am so excited for her and what the future brings in her creativity.  I'm always inspired by her and know I have some big shoes to fill.  It's intimidating but thrilling all at the same time. I'm excited for this opportunity to use some of my other gifts with this wonderful community I have a huge heart for.

Alright.  You are probably tired of reading so many words since I'm almost your last stop.  Are your eyes twitching?  Going crossed just a lil bit?  Before I send you off to the final place I'd like to know how you are inspired.  What inspires YOU?  Leave me a comment and a way to contact you and I'll enter you into a drawing for this:

That is one of the brand spankin' new lines from Crate Paper - Toy Box!  Cute, right?? One of each paper, chipboard and stickers.  It's a fun collection.
If you leave a comment by THURSDAY at 5:00 PM (PST), you'll be eligible to win that prize from me AND you will also be eligible to win the current kit at SFTIO!  One lucky blog hop winner will get the kit.  For more chances to win, I hope you've left some love on all the DT blog. :)

Alright!  Are ya ready for your next stop?  It's the last one... head on over to the SFTIO blog!  Thank you so much for visiting and hanging out with me.

I'm inspired by my Grandmama. Every time I show that 84 year old woman a project, she is in awe and wants me to teach her how to do what I did!
Thanks for the chance to win, and great layout!
