Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend?

I admit.  I love sparkly things. I like glitter. I like bling. I like shimmer. I fit the "female" stereotype of loving all things pink and glitter to a "tee".  Yes I do.  And boy did I get my fill of glitter for last month's Showroom manufacturer in ScrapStreet.  We had the JOY of working with product from Zva Creative.  I always knew they made the bling.  In fact, I could usually predict any bling swirl or flourish I saw on projects was from Zva. 99.9% I was correct.  One thing I learned, though, was that there are also pearl flourishes, and flourishes with pearls AND bling! They also create flowers that are so pretty.  I like flowers too.  Naturally, the projects I created had to be girly.  It's just my nature.

Supplies: Paper, rub-ons: Lily Bee Design, Cardstock: Recollections, Alphabet: American Crafts, Flowers: Lily Bee Design (tulle), Zva Creative (pink), Bling, pearl flourishes: Zva Creative, Tools: Electronic Cutter: Silhouette SD, Border Punch: EK Success

No visual journaling for this layout because I thought the photos told the story quite well on their own.  Can you interpret it?? Hehe...

I also had to create a card or two.  Here is one:

Supplies: Paper, chipboard, Alphabet stickers: Cosmo Cricket, Cardstock: Core'dinations, Pearls, Flowers: Zva Creative, Tools: Border Punch: EK Success

I made this card right after buying the notebook border punch.  I love that punch. I'm still thinking of things to create using it.  For this card it was to simply add some texture and interest.  I like that it didn't completely take away from the focal point that is the butterfly and flowers. And those Zva flourishes are easy to cut so as to expand your stash a bit and make them fit on cards. Very nice!

Thank you to Zva for letting us play with some of the lovely product last month!  If you didn't get a chance to check out the article, click here.  Enjoy!
