Good Thursday Morning!

First, I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who participated in my silly polls. I call them silly because I feel like I went on a little poll craziness. In a weird way, they are quite addicting but I did have a sincere desire to find out how I can continue to make my blog an enjoyable place and not get too wacko on everyone. So thanks.  Also, thank you for all the fun comments from yesterday's post. Wasn't that fun?? I love doing a day in photos and I thoroughly enjoyed that assignment from Beyond Blogging. It was interesting to see my day from a different perspective and then to share it with you through just photos. No words.

I also appreciate those who have conversation with me in the comments. Trust me, they do not go unnoticed! I am so humbled by not just the compliments but also the insight you all bring and when you also share your heart. My layouts are more than just "memory keepers".  I usually am using the creative process to journal about things.  Maybe things that aren't currently what I'm going through but stuff that I would like to document and remember down the road.

Oh.. and I am always happy to help with your Starbucks and sushi cravings. ;)

Alright! This week is one page week at Sketch Support and yesterday my layout was up. I never have enough good things to say about Allison's sketches. They are exactly what I need to get the mojo and design ideas flowing.

Supplies - Paper, cardstock stickers: Crate Paper; Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper; Clear Sticker: SRM Stickers; Flowers: Prima Marketing, Kaisercraft; Bling: Recollections; Bling flourishes: Basic Grey; Ink: Staz-on; Brad: Recollections; Glitter glue: Stickles (Ranger Industries); Pen: Zig Memory System

I stayed pretty true to this sketch. Even though the title and journaling are placed a little different, they are in the same spot as the sketch. I wanted to try something I've seen done before on layouts and that is to use multiple journaling spots for my journaling. It does add a fun look!

I am in love with the Portrait collection from Crate. The color combos are divine and those patterns just work beautifully together. The flowers remind me of those Artex patterns from back in the day. Anyone remember those? Pretty sure I had some pillow cases like that. Except it's an updated look with slightly different shades of color. I like it!

Hope you all are having a good Thursday. Stay safe! I know there are storms everywhere. We were forecasted for snow today but there isn't any... yet... Hope it stays away!

Is tomorrow your Friday? Got any fun plans?

Great job on this; I love it! I went shopping with one of my "craft girls" and she picked up the Portrait Collection by Crate. We typically have different taste in patterns, but I actually like that collection also. Toying around with the idea of picking it up. Thanks for sharing! Happy Friday to you :)
