Happy Easter!

For me this holiday is a very special one. As part of my faith, I celebrate knowing that Jesus died on the cross so that I may have new life. It's a blessing and humbling thought to know that, lovingly, He died for me and, triumphantly, He rose again, conquering death and the grave. Amen!

The mojo also seemed to be spilling into me over the weekend. Would you believe I made two layouts and five cards in the matter of two and a half days? Woohoo! And I see in my future more. I love it when the creative juices spill forth. A few projects I can't show you quite yet but stay tuned for some sneaks.  In the meantime, I'll share a few cards I made using some old Prima, new Lily Bee and scraps from May's kit for SFTIO.  So you'll get a sneak in a way. ;)

Check it out! I used something that's 4 years old! That's ancient in scrapbooking world, eh? Hehe! The papers are from The Morning Song Collection by Prima.  It's a gorgeous line that will never grow old to me and it felt good to use up some stash.  Also on this card is a sticker from SRM (#51015 Shine Your Light) and some ribbon from my stash. The card shape and matting are from a kit shape cut with the Silhouette SD as is the 3d flower.

How's about a little sneak of what's to come in the May kit by SFTIO? Ssssshhh.. don't tell anyone I'm sharing this with you.  But yes there could be some Basic Grey and Crate Paper floating around in that kit. And it's just a wee little snack of what this kit will include.  It's a beaut.  I also have some Jillibean twine, Kaisercraft flowers and bling and Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type letters. I love the look of the handwriting and they are CLEAR! Nice. :)

This one is my favorite and it uses Lily Bee.  Are you surprised? If you are a regular you know that this is my favorite manufacturer. I used papers from the newly released This and That collection, added an SRM Sticker, Jillibean twine and ta dah!
I also did some stamping and coloring with this one.  Thanks to the current Event happening at Two Peas, I've been digging into my stamps.  I don't feel so stamp challenged anymore! For this card I was inspired by the Finally Friday challenge by Kristina Werner over at 2Peas to stamp an image twice and use one for dimension.  I also did some masking. To color the images in, I used my blending markers dipped in the stamp ink. The bling on top is from Recollections.

Ah... I love that card!!!

Hey a big thank you to those who took time to answer the poll questions in my last post.  It helps me to see what my readers scrap and what you all want to learn.  I have one more question for you if you don't mind. I'd like to know what draws you to my blog.  Maybe that should have been my first question but I'm nosey and like to know all kinds of things. So before you head out, please answer this next question.

Pick as many answers as are applicable.

Thank you so much! Again, have a wonderful holiday weekend! He is risen!
