It's a Cards Kind of Day

Monday.... sometimes you can be so rude!

That's how I feel about today. When is my next three day weekend? The end of May you say? So. Far. Away.
I would have loved to have one more day to sleep in, sip coffee and create. After working on some deadline stuff, I shoved it all away because my brain decided to shut down. I took a shopping break and then came back and created just for me. I caught up on some of the Finally Friday videos by Kristina Werner and was inspired by the last two. I might call my self stamping challenged but sometimes I feel like I could conquer the world with an acrylic block and some ink.

Two of the cards I pretty much lifted from her videos.  That got the mojo flowing and then two more cards appeared.  Then it was time for bed. Bummer.  But here is what I managed to bust out in a couple of hours.  Guess when Mr. Moj appears, you gotta go with it!

Supplies: Paper: Collage Press (Pink Paislee), Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Core'dinations, Ink: Hampton Art, Adirondack Brights, Embossing Powder: Stampendous, Pen: Uniball Signo, Tools: Border Punch: EK Success, Stamps: Inkadinkado, Autumn Leaves

These first two cards were pretty much direct lifts using some different tools but the same composition and design as Kristina's videos.  I don't always lift this closely but sometimes you just gotta to get things going!  Here is a card using the current Finally Friday challenge which is using scraps:

Supplies: Paper: Lily Bee Design, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Core'dinations, The Paper Company, Brad: K & Company, Ink: Colorbox, Pen: Uniball Signo, Other: button, twine, Tools: Stamp: Inkadinkado.

And then the mojo kind of took off...

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, The Paper Company, Core'dinations, Twine: Jillibean Soup, Ink: Colorbox, Hampton Art, Embossing Powder: Stampendous, Pen: Uniball Signo, Tools: Stamps: Hero Arts, Inkadinkado

Supplies: Paper: Lily Bee Design, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Alphabet: American Crafts, Flowers: Prima Marketing, Kaisercraft, Bling: Recollections, Tool: Border Punch: Fiskars, Corner Punch: EK Success
I didn't want to stop! I hate then. Mojo always comes right when it's time to go somewhere else.  Oh well. Maybe tonight I'll be lucky again. :)

Happy Monday to ya!
