First of the month goodness!

Happy first of the month!

I am so happy it's May. It means warmer weather is coming. At least I hope so. We were forecasted for snow last week which does not happen here.  I'm beginning to realize I am not a fan of La Nina!

The first of the month means lots of great new things. First off, there's a new issue at ScrapStreet.  We are thrilled to be featuring SRM Stickers and Pink Paislee this month! Also, make sure you check out my article Card Corner for some super cute cards featuring handmade and altered flowers.

ScrapStreet is now moving to a quarterly publication.  Our next issue will be in July and then October. This is great news as now we'll have more time to focus on making the articles fabulous and be able to spend more time with family. Most of the staff have other commitments and we want to make sure we're bringing you the best of the latest and greatest in the industry.

Next on the menu... the May kit from Inside Out is available today. It is called Friendship and it is a beauty!

This fun-loving kit isn't just for kids - but captures hopscotch and playground imagery to celebrate the kid inside of you and how much your childhood friends and the newest soulmates you've found mean to you.

The Friendship kit includes a carefully curated selection of paper from four different manufacturers’ lines – American Crafts’ joyful and feminine Peachy Keen, Basic Grey’s playful Hopscotch, Crate Paper’s homespun Neighborhood and Cosmo Cricket’s colorful Saltair.

All the embellies are brand-spankin’ new! You’ll reminisce with Flair buttons, set the perfect cul-de-sac scene with Jillibean’s corrugated houses, create connection (not to mention gorgeous blooms) with Maya Road’s Zipper Trim and Cosmo Cricket’s newest sensation, Glubers giant glue dots. White picket fence and cloud borders, Webster’s Yacht Club flowers, Aqua rose trim, and the perfect alphas – Blush printed chipboard thickers and Sassafras’ yellow lined alphas…and much more!

Nothing can lift your spirits, soothe your soul and soften the bumps on the roads of life like FRIENDSHIP.

And one more fun thing:

We are adding to the Creative Team over at Sketch Support. Click here to see all the information on how to submit. Can't wait to see who will join us!

Whew! Lots of fun stuff. I've got lots of projects to share with you over the next couple of weeks. May is already proving to be full of activity both in my home and work life AND scrapbooking! I am thinking I'll love May!

hugs,
Melissa
