It's here.... it's finally here!

Warmer weather and sunshine!

Yes I am blogging at 6:00 a.m. My first alarm goes off at 4:45 a.m. and I roll out of bed about 5:15 a.m. So that time you see down there is no mistake. It's the life of an early morning worker. Believe me, I'd quickly change it to a later time if I could. Anyway, I'm so excited because I woke up with my window cracked open, the sun is coming up and it's already 50 degrees. For my little pacific northwest nook, that is pretty good! Nicer weather is here for a little bit. I'm not quite ready for capri's but I've got my saltwater sandals on. :)

This month at Scrapbooking from the Inside Out our emotion/topic is Friendship. I was pretty excited for this one because I love my friends. I just people! But my friends? They are pretty awesome people and I hold them closely. I appreciate them sticking around even when I'm a complete doofus and supporting me in moments of brokenness. I try so hard to return all that love and support.

Over the NSD weekend, I made a card as part of a challenge at 2Peas. The challenge was to lift a Garden Girl. I immediately thought of my friend Jen Martakis. Love her style and I recalled a card she made that I loved at the end of April.  Here is the link to her card and here is my card:

Supplies: Paper: Lily Bee Design, Cardstock: Core'dinations, Brad: K & Company, Flower Stamp: Inkadinkado, Sentiment Stamp: Hero Arts, Stamp ink: Versafine (Tsukineko), Mist: Smooch Spritz (Clearsnap), Border Punch: Fiskars, Electronic Cutter: Silhouette SD

The circles measure 3", 2.25" and 2". The larger two were cut with the Silhouette.

I am seriously in love with this line from Lily Bee.  And I just some of the Happily Lost papers too.  *Sigh* Gorgeous!

Well... better head off to work! Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!

Melissa

I didn't even know it was NSD. Well, barely knew. Now time to celebrate. Isn't that sad?! But you make me happy with your pages and cards! So cute!
p.s. adding you to my blog roll... why aren't you already on it again?

Sigh........how beautiful, Melissa! I love the colors and papers you combined here. I love a project where you stop and look at it and think to yourself that you would never have thought to put those things together, yet how fabulous they look. Totally unexpected and brilliant!
