Silhoutte Card and an Announcement

Well, I submitted at the last minute for the latest call at Paper Crafts and didn't get anything accepted. I'm okay with that. I'm not all the way happy with what I created and it was last minute. Wasn't going to submit and then I got into one of those "what the heck" moments. While it's a bit of a bummer to not be accepted, deep down I'm thankful for the shove to get some cards made!

I used a fun, new to me, card shape on the Silhouette. It's called diamond_stitch_card and I just love that that bottom design!

Supplies: Paper: Lily Bee Design, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Flowers, pearl: Kaisercraft, Sticker: SRM Press, Liquid Pearls: Ranger Industries, Pen: Uniball Signo, Tool: Silhouette SD

I added some liquid pearls to the tip of each stitch. It adds kind of a neat look to the card.

I am also excited to announce the new Design Team members at Scrapbooking from the Inside Out. We had a record number of applications come through and we narrowed it down to a great group of women.  Help me congratulate:

Pamela Palmarini
Laura Croft
Jamie Long
Mette Kallander
I am super excited about this group of ladies and look forward getting to know them better and seeing what they create. Welcome to the team ladies!

Ooh, what a fun silhouette card base! Gorgeous! Love it paired with the scalloped trim, too.
And congrats to the new team. I am a super huge fan of Mette's work. :)
