You are my Sunshine

Good morning!

Got my coffee in hand. Feeling great this morning and I'm looking forward to work.  Wait. What is wrong with me?  As much as I love my job I sincerely and genuinely do not like these early mornings! Oh well. I'll be thankful for a positive attitude and being wide awake right now.

It's card sketch week at Sketch Support this week. I'm realizing my love for cards is coming back. It never really left but most of my creations the past year have been centered around layouts. When I sit down to make a card, I remember how much I enjoy it and want to keep making more.  The sketch this week is so much fun! It's a hard one I think. It took me a bit before I created something.

Here is my card:

Supplies - Patterned Paper: Scenic Route; Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper (kraft), Core'dinations (white); Sticker: SRM Stickers; Embroidery Floss: DMC; Electronic Cutter: Silhouette SD (sun and clouds); Embossing Machine and Folders: Cuttlebug (Provo Craft)
Is it true there is a hand sewing machine out there? Something that you can squeeze a lever and it stitches or something? I've seen all these beautifully stitched cards and such and wonder if it was done with a machine like that. As much as I love stitching, I get so bored with the hand stitching. And my card gets a little bent out of shape.

I know. Whine. Whine. Whine.

But if you know what I'm talking about and happen to know if it's a real thing I speak of, I'd love a link or something.

And just for fun...

I had a fun Sunday stroll with my friend Bonnie this past weekend. After having a yummy lunch we went to an antique shop up the road.I thought the sign of one of them looked so cool! It's a bunch of broken glass with some other treasures mingled in. I love finding random pieces of art like this. Probably wouldn't have it in my house anywhere but it's fun to look at.

Alright... I'm dieing to know. Which do you consider yourself more as - a cardmaker or a layout maker? A little of both?

Have a great Tuesday!
