CHA Day 1

After a short 3.5 hour plane ride from Seattle to Chicago on Sunday, I arrived ready for the fun. Sunday I had the pleasure of staying with a friend and then on Monday Dora and I went to fetch Stacey from the airport.
Checking into the hotel was certainly not without drama. Let me just say I am not giving a good review to the Hilton but that will come a bit later because I know that what most of you really want to see are photos from CHA.

Don't worry. I am happily obliging. So please be patient as the post loads. It's photo heavy but I don't think you'll regret waiting. And by the way, the photos are a mix of product and friends that I just love seeing and meeting for the first time! :)

This is the crowd of everyone waiting to enter the conference center before it opened. Pretty amazing to watch everyone walk in together.

It was quite impressive to see the October Afternoon booth all up and ready to go. It might have added a bit of motivation to do this since they were so close to the door. Who knows. But they definitely have come out with new lines. I always like to look at the collections and then what the designers have done.

Check out those buttons! I love those buttons!

After walking a bit I ran into Jen Matott. We've been wanting to meet and I just had this extra desire to meet her. It's because she a few of her scrapbooking friends created beautiful layouts for my friend Kirsten using photos she took of baby Ewan. It was a treat to finally meet her face to face!

As we walked we stopped by Provo Craft and they had the Cricut magazine. Stacey was ECSTATIC to see her adorable project using Teresa Collins product there. Way to go Stace!

Then we found ourselves in Jillibean Soup. Oh my yumminess! How can you not love this chipboard alpha?? Adorable! And then right below that were these super awesome kraft tags...

Oh kraft... how I love thee!

Are you drooling yet? I loved every single new collection from Jillibean and their embellishments are so awesome.

Oh and then we had to go by Crate Paper. Augh. Lord have mercy I'm really digging Random.  Let me tell you. Photos on the blogs do not do any of these papers justice. For any manufacturer. They are so different in person and being able to touch them and really look at all the detail is so awesome.

Crate buttons are some of my favorite and how can you not love that cute bicycle? I want it. I need it.

Next we mosied over to Webster's Pages. I already loved Webster's but after meeting Brandin I love it even more. She is so sweet, genuine and talented! And I adored every single one of the new lines especially All About Me. Maybe because it's my approach to scrapbooking. Ya think?

And trim.  Oh how I love trim. Especially from Websters!

I'm going to close this post now because I'm tired. I need sleep. My eyes are going crossed and I'm afraid that anything I type beyond this point will make no sense.
I've got tons more photos and it's not even over! Going back tomorrow for more fun.
