Inspired Stamps: In Peace

Sometimes you just need a card that will let you know someone is praying for you - for peace and safety. It's interesting that this scripture sentiment by Inspired Stamps was included with my package. This is a verse that was shared on a mission trip I went on long ago. It's comforting to know we are not alone. :)

For this card I did some masking. I stamped the sentiment on some scratch paper, cut it out and then after stamping it again on the white cardstock, I stamped the flower image over the scratch paper. I like the look of masking and I remember when I first began stamping, I always wondered how folks were able to get partial images like that!

I colored the flower in with my waterbrush and various yellow inks - some chalk and some pigment. I wanted it to sparkle so every other front petal has some stickles on it.

Supplies: Paper: Cosmo Cricket, Cardstock: The Paper Company, Glitter Glue: Stickles (Frosted Lace), Stamp Ink: Versafine (Onyx Black), Colorbok, Adirondack Brights, Pen: Zig Memory Systems, Stamps: Inspired Stamps, Border Punch: Fiskars, Corner Punch: EK Success

Inspired Stamps used: Flowers, Be Still Silhouettes

Thanks for swinging by!

Melissa

How awesome that this verse had so much meaning to you and then it showed up in your stamps. I love your card. I might share this verse with my daughter she is going on a mission trip next week.
