It's okay... I'm use to it...

Oh man I'm about to be a debbie downer. Quick! Someone punch me in the arm and snap me out of it! Ha! Actually, I'm not too sad but I'll admit to feeling a twinge of disappointment. I went gung ho and entered myself into the Paper Crafts Gallery Idol and, alas, did not make the top 20. In retrospect, it's a good thing because I really can't handle any added pressure at the moment. But... as with any rejection (such a harsh word) one can't deny that wee bit of disappointment that seems to envelope us. Thankfully, it's brief and it's not stopping me from creating. That would be silly!

And I do love the cards I entered. I stuck true to who I am and my style and will still enjoy these cards. Can't wait to actually give them to someone to celebrate with them!

You did it Congrats
Supplies: Paper: Lily Bee Design, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Alphabet: American Crafts, Sticker: SRM Press, Bling: Kaisercraft, Tool: Border Punch: Fiskars, Circle Punches: EK Success, Fiskars

This one is my favorite. Clean. Simple. Handmade embellishment. Using some of my favorite products.

Here is the other one...

Congrats
Supplies: Paper: Pink Paislee, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, The Paper Company, Bling: Kaisercraft, Tool: Silhouette SD
Shapes: Nested_Butterfly and Congrats

This was another favorite. I love that butterfly shape from the Silhouette and the word is so fancy.  It's like fancy meets simple. And who doesn't love a little bling trail?

So I can't be too disappointed! After all... I still get to share them with you, right?

Hope your Friday is going well! I am so glad it's the end of the week. It means I'm that much closer to vacation and this poor, fatigued, brain-fried lady can't wait much longer. Just holding on....

Melissa, your cards are just beautiful! Elegant, clean-lined, perfect balance, perfect design. You've done good, baby doll, regardless. :)
And how exciting that a vacation is lurking on the horizon. There's a thought that would cheer anyone up.
