Today is a special day!
On July 2nd, SFTIO celebrated our 3rd Anniversary and today we are celebrating with a DT (and friends) Blog Hop! Who doesn't love a good blog hop? It all begins right here on my blog and you'll be taken on a journey to our NEW design team's blogs as well as some DT Alumni! Yay! It's not party without some special guests. So enjoy the party hop as the current team members share one of their layouts about Independence and our Alumni share one of their favorite layouts during their terms.
There are PRIZES too. THREE hoppers will win one of three kits - you will get to choose from the Independence, Optimism or Friendship kit And ONE winner will win a $50 gift certificate for C.R.A.F.T. Oh man... how cool is that? You can find out more about C.R.A.F.T. by clicking here.
Alright... time to share my layout with you. I loved the approach to July and Independence at SFTIO. It's not about the red, white and blue this month... it's about YOU.
On The Move is a layout about me finding my independence at the age of 18. Doesn't this apply to most of us? We turn 18 and think, "YES! I'm an adult! I can do whatever I want, when I want, how I want!" Oooooh how naive we are. Now that I'm in my mid-30's I think back to my wee years and think about how much I wish I could have just calmed myself down and waited. What we learn rather quickly at that age is there are so many responsibilities that come with adulthood and our new found independence!
However, I will admit that the freedom to move and go when I want is pretty awesome. Because of that I've moved to big cities, lived in foreign countries and have pretty much felt the freedom to go, go, go. And that is so fitting for my personality because I get bored and restless so easily! Besides all that, these experiences of going out and moving when I want have made me more brave and ready to tackle new things. I'm excited when new opportunities and vision come bursting in my head.
I love the sassiness that the little ladies from Webster's Pages Trendsetter bring to the layout.
Now get your blog hopping shoes on because you'll want to head on over to DT Alumni Christa's blog! Yay, so excited to have some of these past DT gals joining us and I'm a huge fan of Christa's work.
Oh but before you leave... to be eligible for one of the prizes up above, you'll need to leave a comment on my blog by THURSDAY, JULY 7th at 5:00 P.M. (PST). Make sure you leave comments on each blog to help increase your chances of winning.
As an added SFTIO Birthday gift, I'm also giving away a FREE Blog Redesign to someone. Please specify in your comments if you'd like to be considered to win one!
