Just not feeling it!

Blog posting that is. I haven't slacked off a ton but I feel like I definitely haven't posted as often or with as much content lately. I think my brain and fingers just need to slow it down and know that I don't have to have a brand new post up every single day.  But I do have lots of projects to share, that is for sure!

I've been on a card making frenzy as of late thanks to Card-a-palooza over at For the Luv of Art. It has been a fun 15 days with some awesome challenges. They are the perfect challenges to motivate me. Nothing too fancy. Nothing out of the ordinary. Just techniques that I would normally use but given in such a way that make me feel like I can create. So thanks Ellen, Norma and everyone else at FTLOA for a fantastic 15 days!

Supplies: Paper, Rub-ons: Lily Bee Design, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper

This card was created for the Rub-Ons challenge. I went super simple! At first, I didn't think I would be able to participate because all my rub-ons have sentiments but then I found a sheet from Lily Bee that had these flowers. So cute! I'll a sentiment later for when I know who it will go to.

Supplies: Paper, Sticker, Twine: Jillibean Soup, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Tool: Silhouette SD

This one was for a challenge to use twine. And I am so in love with the brand new Sweet and Sour Soup collection from Jillibean! I know we weren't really suppose to add sentiments to our cards yet but I forgot and loved this quote so much. I figure it can be adaptable for multiple occasions. :) And, of course, had to use my Silhouette for the card shape!

Well there ya go! This week is another busy one so who knows when I'll get back onto a regular blogging schedule again but hopefully soon. Hope you had a great Monday!

hugs,
Melissa

Great cards today! I have been slacking on my blogging this summer too. I think that is because I want to soak up every miniut that it actually pops over 75 (and pretend that it is summer). Love the cut outs in the 2nd card especially...and the twine! thanks for sharing -Amanda

Love the cards!
I hear ya about slacking off on blogging...it's always so hard to keep up on it over the summer when schedules are all wonky.
