Thank you cards

I dug into my stash this weekend and out surfaced the Snow Day collection from Crate Paper. I'm such a traditional girl that these papers do not say Christmas or Winter to me. Even with the trees and holiday lights... thankfully, on the reverse side of those festive patterns are colors and designs that can be used for any time of year. So I snipped and punched and out came two cards! And... I've also created a video, which you can view at the bottom, that walks you through how to make that paper flower. I've done a step out instructional post before with photos but sometimes it's hard to totally convey how to piece it all together. And so there is video. :)

But first... the cards...

Supplies: Paper: Crate Paper, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Button: Chatterbox, Stickers: SRM Press, Floss: DMC, Other: jute, Tools: Circle Punches: 2 inch and 1 5/8" (EK Success), 1.5" (Fiskars), Cornder Punch: Marvy Uchida

Supplies: Paper: Crate Paper, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Stickers: SRM Press, Border Punch: Fiskars

I've been stamping so much lately and it's been awhile since I've played with stickers. I remember now why I loved them so much! :)

Alright... here is the video on how to make that flower. If you make a project with one, do share with me!

Beautiful cards, Melissa! Really fab way to use holiday papers in a non-traditional fashion. I would never guess those were Christmas papers. And what a stunning flower! Really love it. Thanks so much for the awesome tutorial. I am SO going to be trying those soon. :)
