Card Makin' Kind of Day

I have projects with deadlines looming. I should be working on those but nothing quite gets my mojo going than making some cards. The perfect opportunity came up at 2peas as they are having an online crop this week. The challenges are fun and easy and I love that I can make cards for them too.

The first challenge was to lift a Garden Girl. I found another designer to stalk. Julie Campbell makes the most gorgeous cards. I'm a new fan. I found this card in the gallery and decided to lift it. Here is my card:

Supplies: Paper: Lily Bee Design, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Twine, House: Jillibean Soup, Flower, brad: Creative Cafe, Stamp Ink: Versafine, Stamp: Fiskars, Corner Punch: EK Success

And here are some close ups...

I embossed the sentiment to help make it pop on the card.

The next challenge was to use a fun fall color combo. You can see it here. And here is my card:

Supplies: Paper, stickers, alphabet stickers: Lily Bee Design, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Flowers: Prima Marketing, Bling: Kaisercraft, Spray Ink: (Smooch Spritz) Clearsnap, Border punch: Fiskars, Other: button, jute

I used the banner stickers as "leaves".

Now off to finish another challenge and then I might get on it with the other projects. I look forward to them now that the creative wheels are turning. :)

hugs,
Melissa
