Tuesday Trigger and a Card Call

Hello everyone!

I am participating, for the first time, in the Tuesday Trigger challenge over at Moxie Fab World. I always love to check out the blog and see what marvelous finds Cath will post but I've never taken the time to actually participate. Silly me. But this time, the Trigger was a good one and I, immediately, had something in my head to do. Here's the photo of inspiration:

It's all about Winter Blossoms and those lovely pom pom looking balls of goodness. I had the perfect flower in my stash to use too! Yay! Here is the card I came up with based off the shapes of the blossoms above:

Supplies: Paper: Prima, My Minds Eye, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Flower, Canvas Alphabet: Prima, Purple Alpha: American Crafts, Pearls: EK Success, Leaves: unknown, Ribbon: Offray

Can you see the similarity?

I see more Tuesday Trigger challenges in my future. :) Come and play along!

Have you always wanted to be published but not sure where to begin? Maybe a bit nervous? Don't be! If you are a card maker, I've got the Card Corner call for ScrapStreet magazine right here for you. Take a look, go out on a limb and SUBMIT! You can send your submissions directly to me melissa@scrapstreet.com. Please include some design notes with your submission and have a supply list ready just in case you get some happy mail. :)

Card Corner Call for Submissions - Spring 2012 issue (April)

Card Corner. We want to see any and all cards using the sentiments of Graduation, Mother's Day, Spring, Baby, Congrats and Happy Birthday. Take a look at the technique calls below and make sure to include one of the aforementioned sentiments with your submission:
KISSY KISSY: No not me. I mean kiss the stamp! Stamp kissing or smooching continues to be a favorite technique and we want to feature cards using this super fun approach to stamping. Please include a brief note of how you kissed your stamp.
DIE CUTS: Whether you have the Cameo, Cricut or Pazzles, we want to see your cards creatively using die cuts. Yes, store bought pre-cut die cut shapes are fine as well.
INTERACTIVE CARDS: We want to see cards where the recipient has to do something in order to experience the full glory of your creation. Some ideas include spinner cards, pockets, folders, removable tags, etc.

Deadline: February 18th

Good luck!
~ Melissa
