Carolina Breeze

Normally I'm drawn to bold and bright colors. But something about the Carolina Breeze collection from Teresa Collins drew me in. I love the calmness of it and the patterns. I picked up a few sheets at a local store and decided to test the waters and see if I could actually create with it. A lot of times I'll pick up these more muted or monotone colors and not feel inspired. But it was different this time.  I absolutely love this collection and can't wait to play a little bit more with it. I've still got scraps and a few sheets left over and I think I'll make a card set with it.

Here is the card I created...

Supplies: Paper: Teresa Collins, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Alphabet: Basic Grey, Metal Heart: Making Memories, Leaves: Queen & Co., Twine: The Twinery

The card measures 5" x 5". Can you believe I didn't add a flower? I guess the leaves kind of make for that!

I just received in the mail some Miss Caroline papers by My Minds Eye. Can't wait to dig in. It's so pretty!!!
Loving all these new, Spring collections and that they are appearing in shops now. Need to start channeling in that warmer weather. So done with Winter!
