Guest Designing: Lily Bee Design

Happy Monday everyone!

I am so excited to say that I am Guest Designing for Lily Bee this month. Yay! I've got a little feature over on the blog, which you can get to by clicking here.  I'll be sharing what I created on my blog with some more detail. But first I just want to say how humbled I was by being asked to guest with Lily Bee and use their amazing products. It's no secret how much I love the patterns and colors in each collection. They are so easy to use with cutting shapes with the Cameo. I'll forever be a fan. :)

Here is one of my layouts using the new Victoria Park collection:

One of the newer additions to the collections are the die cuts. Loved the little flags. They make the perfect banner.

Here is a close up of my journaling. This was originally going to be hidden but when all was said and done, the layout was too bare for my taste. I love negative space but it was definitely lacking so I opted to have the journaling shown.

The accordion flower was cut with the Cameo. While flowers aren't something that Lily Bee does anymore, the papers lend themselves to be super easy to create your own paper flowers. Love that! I cut out the houses from one of the stickers.

I've started to document when a photo was taken on my layouts. I didn't focus on that too much before, even for self photos, and I'm kind of regretting that. It's nice to know the year, at least, when it was taken and where... if I have that information.

I loved how perfectly the Victoria Park papers enhanced the photo of my Grandparents, both now deceased, farmhouse. I have such wonderful memories of that place and visiting as a child. So thankful for GOOD memories and being able to use some beautiful product to capture the memory.

Thanks for swinging by today! I'll be sharing another layout tomorrow and then an altered canvas I created on Wednesday.
