SFTIO Blog Hop

Hi everyone!

Welcome to the beginning of the Scrapbooking from the Inside Out DT Bloghop! We have a gorgeous kit this month called GRACE that will be featured on each design team members blog. This month, I was blown away by the diversity and depth that each designer went with this topic.

Our kits at SFTIO are a little bit different in the industry. While we do supply the latest and greatest, we don't just put together pretty kits. Each kit is inspired by an emotion. Based on trends and what we see at CHA, emotions and topics are dreamed up by Rachel and Tammy (Our Creative Director) and elements from many manufacturers are pulled that will help evoke that emotion and/or topic. I love this style of scrapbooking and if you have visited my blog for any length of time, you know that from my layouts. I began to scrap this way long before joining this team. So you can imagine how excited I was to find some kindred spirits in this industry.

For the hop we, the design team, are sharing one of our Grace layouts with you.  Here is the one I am choosing for this weekend:

Receiving grace is a lot easier than showing it for me. I expect to receive it from everyone. I know that's probably selfish. No. It is selfish. And something that I also know, and get schooled on quite often, is that I also need to show it. How can I expect others to give me some grace in life, when I can't give it? So it's something I work on. We are all human. We all make mistakes and make stupid choices. Sometimes it's not even a matter of mistakes but things we just don't agree with. I don't have to be a doormat, per say, but I can still bite my tongue. I can still shut my mouth and show grace that each and every one of us deserves. Gosh it's hard! But I know I can do it. And trying is better than nothing, right?

Here are a couple of close ups of my layout

I love the softness of this kit and how it kind of symbolizes that forgiving feeling that comes with Grace. Not to mention beauty!

Why not grab a kit for yourself? Better yet, how would you like a chance to win one? What kind of blog hop would this be without a prize? In order to have the best chance possible in winning, leave a comment on each design team's blog during the hop! We'll draw one lucky winner to receive the Grace kit! You have until 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time, Saturday, March 10th to leave comments.

Alright, now that you've left a comment on my blog, it's time to get hopping to the next blog. We are so THRILLED to have the uber-talented and uber-sweet Stacy Cohen joining us as a Guest Designer this month. She is also joining us on the blog hop and she is your next stop.

Now get out of here and go visit STACY! :)

And be checking the SFTIO blog after this weekend because we'll announce the lucky kit winner there. :)

If you get lost along the blog hopping way, here is a master list (in blog hop order) of all of our blogs:

After reading your inspiring journaling, I realized that's exactly how I have always felt & thought not even understanding until now how ungraceful that way of thinking & living really is. You definatly made me stop & think awhile!! The kits are fab. Very feminine, gentle, & relaxing (the differing greens). Thanks for such a beautiful, thought provoking layout!

Beautiful layout! I love that you are able to see something to work on and admit it- most of us aren't willing to do that. Good luck on working on showing grace.

What a beautiful kit and gorgeous layout! I love how you interspersed the word stickers with your handwriting for the journaling. The two different font stickers look fabulous together, and the whole layout is just so bright - just what showing grace should be. Thanks!

Blue is my favorite color--all shades so I love your choices. My middle name means 'grace' and I really love this month's theme!
