Well Hello

Thought I would share a quick card using some of my stash and a fun color combo. I'm not normally drawn to this type of combo but it was fun to create. Nothing like challenging yourself to use things that don't always call your name!

I used some papers from the Memorandum collection by Lily Bee. I've had some black flowers in my stash for quite some time. At first, I began with the larger flower being black but it was just too much. So I opted to use black for the tiny flower and added the blue one to bring out the blue in the patterned paper. Using the black pom trim helps to ground the card design so that everything isn't just floating.

I love the letter stickers from Lily Bee too. The font is super cute and they are tiny enough for a card sentiment.

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Paper, Letter Stickers: Lily Bee Design, Brads: (Red): American Crafts, (Pearl): My Minds Eye, Button, Ball Trim: American Crafts

Have a wonderful weekend!

This is a beautiful card! I agree with you I am not normally drawn to this color combo, but except for the black I recently used the same colors on my last layout. Mainly because the background papers already had those colors in it, but I must say you pulled it off better than I did! Great job! Love Penny Scrap-aholic.blogspot.com
