Cards, cards, cards

I thought I would share a few cards I came up with for a class. They are clean and simple. Minimal supplies. Easy and affordable tools. The focus is on students who want to make cards, have a hard time dreaming up something and who don't want to collect a bunch of fancy supplies. I used Jillibean Soup goodies and had fun keeping everything to a minimum.  I also wanted to showcase unique sizes and how easy it can be.

This first one measures 4"x7" once folded.

I based this off a card I created awhile back that used hearts. Loved the look so much that I had to try with butterflies too! The butterfly stamp is from Martha Stewart and the stamp is by Fiskars.

This next card measures 5"x3.5" when folded.

Simple and to the point! Just how I like it. Garnished with some bling, of course. :)

And the final card is a standard 5.5"x4.25" when folded.

I am forever a fan of white embossing on kraft paper. SO cool! Love the negative space on this card. It was too blah for me at first. After the flower and bling were added, it gave the perfect pizzazz. This card will be an example of what "jacking up" the design can do.

Thanks for swinging by today! Hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend. :)
