Daydream Believer

I might be a little late posting this card but I was home sick yesterday and left my camera at work. AUGH! Anyway, this card was inspired by the latest challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays. The challenge was to be inspired by song lyrics. All the typical ones came to my head until I thought of Daydream Believer. Now how the heck could that be used as a card sentiment? Well it can. And it is now. I like how it will be a card that I can give for just about any occasion. :)

Supplies: Paper, Brad: My Minds Eye, Cardstock: Coordinations, Pearls: Recollections, Stamps: Fiskars, Stamp Ink: Versafine, Pen: Zig Memory System, Border Punch: Fiskars, Butterfly Punch: Martha Stewart Crafts

I decided to go out on a limb and hand write "day" and the "r" for the sentiment. It was daring. I say that because what if it doesn't turn out right? I can't erase it! And that's what happened. It didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. But I'm leaving it because that is what you do. It does add some interesting interest. ;)

Normally, when adhering butterflies with dimension, I glue the middle part and push the wings up. This time I glued down one of the wings and pushed the other one up. Super simple. And super fun.

The time to participate in this challenge has come to a close but I did want to share anyway! Can't wait for the next one!
