Dream coming True

I'm taking a quick break here in the midst of packing. I'm almost done too. Can't even believe it! The mess is still there but it's so reassuring to see that the final stretch is in site. With that, though, comes this overwhelming emotional response. I'm constantly on the verge of tears. SO many emotions! And it is all still so surreal because I'm not in Chicago yet but the reality is that I will be in a couple of days. To stay. While everyone at CHA will be leaving at the end of the week, I will be staying and beginning a new life.

I know I had said in my last post my next one would be during CHA but I was chilling out on Facebook and found several layouts pertaining to this dream move of mine.

Note the little cloud on the layout below that hides among all my wishes and hopes. This layout can also be seen in the Summer issue of ScrapStreet.

The next one I included other thoughts about my career and the future it holds. While I'd still love to see how far this industry takes me, I also just have to say that YES... IT IS HAPPENING!

The next one is a layout I created a month after last Summer CHA. It was last year that I truly felt like I was home when I was in Chicago. It caught my attention. And now what? I'M MOVING THERE IN TWO DAYS!

At the time of creating these it was all just a dream. Dreams are good to have! And then it became a goal. And now it's happening. I just love using scrapbooking to express the thoughts and emotions I have! How cool to tuck these layouts in my binder to look at again. It warms my heart and makes me smile.

Have you used scrapbooking to document your life like this? There's something pretty incredible that happens within when you do. Try it! :)
